My mother taught me how to create beautiful afghans in the style of Swedish Weaving. I've primarily used patterns that I have found and played with new color schemes. Recently I've begun to experiment with creating my own patterns. Enjoy these pictures and the stories behind my creations.

Dale
The Dale. The pattern is Marquise. It represents the school colors of my grown children's high school.
I do like using one color yarn on a solid color background. The color background becomes an essential part of the design.
