My Favorite

This is my all time favorite afghan that I have made.  It is the Pave pattern.  I tend to keep it safe and out of the hands of anyone who might use it.

The colors choices make this the perfect combination for our living room, yet I think it is the design itself that pulls my eye to it.

The Sunflower

I called this The Sunflower.  It is the Crystalline pattern done in brown, gold, and green.

The Sunflower color scheme was inspiried by a bouquet my daughter carried as a bridesmaid.  After looking at the bouquet on our table for a week I had visions of an afghan.

Dale

The Dale.  The pattern is Marquise.  It represents the school colors of my grown children's high school.

I do like using one color yarn on a solid color background.  The color background becomes an essential part of the design.

First Time

My very first attempt at Swedish Weaving.  The pattern is Solitaire.

I used a variegated yarn to make it easy.  This afghan is used everyday and night, at the foot of my bed.

Pride

This color combination started as another "Christmas theme" and turned out more patriotic looking to me.  I call it Pride.  The design is Dazzling.  It was again donated to our church bazaar for raffle ticket sales.

Physically Uplifting

A personal favorite.  This design is Pave.  The header in the blog is a close-up view of the design.
It was designed in colors for a special young lady in our church family.  Raffle tickets were sold to support her physical needs.

Lenten Tones

I call this afghan Lenten tones.  The design is Brilliance.  It was donated to our Christmas church bazaar.  Fundraising raffle ticket were sold for weeks in advance.  The drawing was held at the conclusion of the bazaar.
